Hi, my name is Nancy Harper. I have been a teacher for twenty nine years. The first school district I had the opportunity to work in was Detroit Public Schools(Go Denby Tars!). I then left Detroit Public Schools and joined the staff at Mt. Clemens(Go Bathers!). I have a Masters of Education from Wayne State University. I am certified by the State of Michigan to teach students with Cognitive Impairment, Learning Disabled students, Home bound and Hospital bound, as well as students with Physical Impairment. I have worked with Special Education students for my entire career. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and having the opportunity to be a positive influence in my student's lives. Learning should be an enjoyable activity, as a positive environment enhances the student's day and encourages them to continue their education. I enjoy when parents become involved in their child's education. As a parent myself, I understand the need to facilitate creativity, and learning in school as well as at home.
